Achan Freda

Freda lives with her 2 children and 2 nephews in Jinja. Her husband died of AIDS in 2001. Before his death, her husband had bought the family a plot of land on which to build a house. It must be built by the end of 2010 according to the land purchase terms. She used to sell fish to earn income. She now has a garden of sugar cane on mission land and has begun doing beading. She would like to run a kiosk and sell edibles. She also hopes to buy a manual sewing machine.
