Achom Frede

Frede is age 45 and a widow and lives in the Walukuba area with her 4 children ages 15 to 25 plus 2 of her sister’s children. Her husband died in 2003 when he stepped on something. She does beading and also weaves mats and sells them in the market to earn some income. Frede’s biggest concerns are her lame leg and her 2 front teeth which have gone bad, and the fact that she must either now buy the house (2 rooms) that she has been reting or get out.
