Gladys Lamaro

Gladys Lamaro, age 21, and her husband care for 2 children, one of which is 2 years old and the other 6 months, in a single room makeshift house. She has been part of Pittek since May 2010. The money she earns from her sales she dedicates to buying food for her family and re-investing. She is thankful and says that it is nice to finally make money. Her hopes are to generate enough income that she may afford a milling machine and start a business of grinding grain. Gladys is a talented artist and hand paints beautiful animal designs on the silk scarves.
