Keorbina Adong

Kerobina Adong is 40 years old and is a shy mother of 3. Her husband works as a security guard on a contractual basis. She joined Pittek in May 2010. Kerobina hopes to start her own business of buying and selling charcoal with monies she has earned from beading, and perhaps a small loan from the internal revolving loan fund. She directly attributes the relief of a significant burden of stress to her income from selling beads, and is grateful that she can afford to educate her youngest boy of 12 years old. Instead of renting a one-room house, she dreams of someday buying a nice house and finally “sleeping as comfortably as you do in America.”
