Daniel lives with his mother, one sibling age 12 and a 2 year-old orphan in
Jinja, Uganda.
His mother earns some income by making beads and by selling charcoal. The family has lived in the Jinja area for six years. They are originally from Kabermaido in northern Uganda but came to Jinja because of the war and the
Karamajong.
Daniel helps around the home by washing plates, mopping floors and fetching water. He likes helping his mother and also playing with friends.
Daniel is an above average student. He especially likes science. He wants to be a mechanic. He sometimes misses school because of lack of school fees.
Your sponsorship of Daniel will help him continue with his schooling and have more regular attendance so that he can excel in his studies.
Annual sponsorship cost is $650 for secondary school fees, uniforms, and supplies. This amount can be paid in one lump sum, by term at $217 per term, or monthly via credit card at $55 per month Additional optional amounts up to $300 total may be contributed during the calendar year as a special family gift.
