Esther is the youngest of 9 children. She lives with her mother and siblings in a rented room in the Masese slum area of
Jinja. She attends a government run secondary school which is in the center of
Jinja.
Her family is originally from the Gulu area in northern Uganda. They moved to Jinja about ten years ago because of the war. Her mother is widowed and earns a small monthly income from reselling fish. Esther has one older brother who is lame.
Esther helps in her home by cooking, and washing clothes. English is her favorite subject in school. When she has any free time, she enjoys playing sports, especially net ball and playing with friends.
Your sponsorship will help Esther reach her potential and achieve her dreams by paying for her primary school fees, uniforms and school supplies.
Esther urgently needs a 2nd sponsor to pay $325 of her annual sponsorship cost of $650 for secondary school fees, uniforms and supplies. Esther has one sponsor who is paying for 50% of her school fees.
However, Esther desperately needs a 2nd sponsor to pay the remaining 50% of school fees. The amount may be paid in one lump sum of $325, by term at $108 per term or monthly via credit card at $27 per month. Additional optional amounts up to $300 total may be contributed during the calendar year as a special family gift.
