Nadongo Foebe lives with her mother, 7 siblings and 2 other children in Jinja Uganda. Her father died in 2004 from malaria. The family rents 1 room and has no plot of land to grow food.
Her mother makes a local brew and sells it and other drinks, and soda at the Masese Port area of Jinja in order to earn a small income. The family came to Jinja in 2004 from Busia in eastern Uganda.
Nadongo likes math and English and would like to be a nurse becaue it is good to treat people. She is usually in the top one-fourth of her class of 120 students. She likes to study and likes to study. She also plays netball at her school. She helps her mother around the house by leaning, mopping and washing..
Annual sponsorship cost is $125 for primary school fees, uniforms, and supplies. The sponsorship amount can be paid annually or by term at $42 per term. Additional optional amounts up to $300 total may be contributed during the calendar year as a special family gift.
