Gerald lives with his mother and brother in Jinga. His parents are originally from Lira, in Northern Uganda, but moved to Jinja to be safe from Rebel activities.
Gerald’s mother is a beader and sells flour for a living. Gerald likes helping his mother with cooking and cleaning.
Gerald’s best subjects are English Literature, Geography, Commerce and History, and music. He likes to play Cricket and read story books. He wants to be a lawyer because there is a lot of unfairness in the judiciary system and he wants to set a good example.

Annual sponsorship cost is $650 for secondary school fees, uniforms, and basic school supplies. The sponsorship amount can be paid annually, by term at $217 per term, or monthly via credit card at $55 per month. Additional optional amounts up to $300 total may be contributed during the calendar year as a special family gift.
